It’s time to get wild in the water, as jet-ski action comes to the PlayStation 2. Choose one of eight diverse characters to pilot your personal watercraft, and then head out into competition against an international cast of racing professionals. Each of the licensed Sea Doo watercraft is designed to have a different set of strengths, allowing you to find the machine that suits your style. There are a whopping 18 real-life environments in w­h­i­c­h to play, including the likes of Hawaii, Lake Havasu, Venice (Italy), and Nice (France).

Multiple game modes keep the action fresh and the replay value high, while startlingly realistic physics will have you moving and bobbing with the waves. Taking full advantage of the PS2’s enormous capacity, SPLASHDOWN boasts tremendous graphics and detailed sound effects to make your experience all the more memorable. Whether or not jet-ski racing is your cup of tea, there’s simply no denying that this is one incredible game.

• Sinopse

Um boneco “dummy” é denominado assim devido à sua inatividade, à sua inutilidade. Mas Cid não quer ser isso. O ser relata a todos que não deseja ser algo sem propósito, e seu criador, o professor Werken, percebe isso e o envia para uma perigosa missão: salvar sua filha.

Werken então coloca Cid em uma veste especial, colorida com as cores amarela e vermelha. Então as forças finalmente chegam para a criatura, que ganha habilidades especiais para sua missão. Mas o vilão D-Troit não gosta nem um pouco de deixar um “dummy” utilizar o sistema ESS (criado por ele e por Werken no passado) e então manda seus subordinados para parar Cid.
